Is it me? or are the posts in the forums becoming slightly bitchy/nasty.
What is going on people..This site is cool, with some wonderful people on it. Dont ruin it.
Enjoy it and have fun with it.
Why is it the minority spoil it for the majority!!!

I've not been in here much at all. But I noticed that a some members seem to be a bit put off by something. Don't have the foggest idea of what happened. But if the majority of us who want to keep this a fun site, band together fill the forums with laughter again, well then just maybe, all will be forgiven.

Exactly! So many of you have been here for years, please don't let this recent rash of "whatever the hell has been going on" ruin YOUR site, keep it clean, honest, real and happy, help the noobs feel welcomed and all that.
Ya'all know I've been here, I try to smooth, work with, work out and mediate anything that pops up...but not much going on in my inbox right now and I don't have any more of an idea WTF is going on than the rest of you.
If some here cannot get along with others here, then they should do the grown up thing and avoid each other, and be civil inspite of their differences. It's a big site, open 24/7...there's room for everyone.
Fake profiles used for harrassment and onsite cyberbullying aren't appreciated here...can we agree on that?

Everybody is just hear to have fun. Unfortunately, It seem like some people idea of fun is hurting other. We're all adult hear lets leave the juvenile shite to the juv3nile.

Perhaps it's different personalities. Perhaps it's also the season. Christmas especiallyu brings out many emotions that can be hidden most other times of the year.

I've noticed some members enjoy digging at others. I don't post much anymore, it should be fun and naughty as well as discussing issues that members have interest in.
Lets hope 2008 will go back to the way it used to be, naughty and fun

FLP has the right idea, we band together and keep these forums as they should be....not posting because of a few will only be giving it up to them...now is the time to take it back. It's the time we all of us to step up and be the majority.

I'll just go ahead and mention this anyhow whether I get my head bitten off or not. I know i wasn't around when this site was 'small' only few selects were on here and a lot of things were able to go without anyone being pissed, etc, you name it. They all understood at that point. Then when I got on here... things were still that way a bit then i'd say maybe a few months down the road, more and more people started in. So as more and more people (This is great for Abs) join, like one said earlier, more personalities clash and such and Abs and the moderators has to put more stern rules on because of the numbers registered on this site now.
Don't know what i'm really trying to point out here, but as another said earlier, the minorities sure can ruin a lot of things for the majorities. So even when we had fun on this site, even now, sometimes it sucks for us because of 'issues' that we all once or twice been through.
That's why I don't say so much anymore like I used to. So when i do, its either just an input i wanted to put in, or i'm trying to be a smart-ass in a jokingly manner. If you don't know me enough to know what i'm doing... I say, thats too bad cuz it was fun back then.

We went through a bad time here for awhile, by "We" I mean all of you and me...since this bad time, things have changed and I've tried to get things to loosen up on the forums, we don't have so many mods as we once did, and so we don't have as many conflicts about what's right, wrong, needs deleted, allowed or disallowed....
I've said it so many times, I'll say it again....all we really ask from you in the forums is to use courtesy to the author of thread when it comes to hijacking, and don't bring your personal battles with other members into the forums or chatrooms. That's not asking for much really.

I don't post much, but i have noticed some members direct replies to others in a less then friendly way, and they don't deserve it.
I do like the site and all the members i have chatted with have been wonderful.
Lets make 08 a naughty year here in the forums!!!

People can disagree in a lively way, a respectful way and as we always say...attack the topic not the poster.
There are times when a perons responds with the mindset that "hey, that post was aimed very deliberatly at me and I need to defend myslef (or explain myself)"
That's human nature, it's gonna happen here just like it happens on every forum and message board on this big ole internet.
For the most part of what I see when somene gets a little nasty with a post or reply is...that people do take the high road, they often see it as someone who is just in a grumpy mood, or someone is very passionate about a topic and it gets out of hand.
I've seen things flare up and smooth out between people quickly because they are one...(flare up)human....and two(smooth down)adults who handle things in an adult way.
...and sometimes I think it's just misunderstandings...we can percieve something that is just totally off the cuff, or innocent as a personal attack when it was never meant to be that way.
You might be surpised sometimes by how your own mood can negatively affect the way you percieve a post. You may be immediately offended, then go back and read it another day and wonder why it upset you at all.

I haven't posted very much over the last year. If I have offended some of you over the last couple of posts, Sorry. That was not and is not my intent. (If I didn't offend anyone-disregard my last comment  )
You guys are right...Posts used to be fun and we used to pick on each other. Let the fun start again.

I'm happy to see this attitude and hope to see more of you around here bear, I'm sure you've never offended anyone.
All I wanna do here in the forums is enjoy myself too.
For everyone who complains that it's no fun anymore cuz of the hijacking curb, there's one that complains about getting their thread hijacked.
For everyone that complains that the forums are two serious, there's one that complains that the forums are too "cliquish and silly"...etc.....
There's room for everyone.
I like seeing that variety here, some current events, some serious things to ponder, some totally silly fun stuff, and yes....topics about sex too....
