Deckin' the halls
I'm behind on Holiday decorating, I hope to get into it today...I love it, I spend all day cutting fresh evergreen branches from the dense evergreen forest across the road (Hell, I don't know who owns that property, some city people I think, but there's no purple paint or "no tresspassing" signs anywhere)
The front porch and front flower beds will be arranged with all this evergreen and my concret angel statues perched among them, a few red bows, and some white Christmas lights.
At night, I'll bundle up, go sit on the swing with a warm wool throw and a hot cup of something and just enjoy the serentity...the cold air just seems lighter, crisper, and the stars seem to hover closer to earth in the winter.

Chazzy you should have been on my back steps last night for the cold crisp air. It got to -10 last night, and its snowing again here. But we won't get too much today, hopefully only an inch or so.
We don't go over board on the decorations, just don't have the room. We have the tree up and some other things, but that will be it. I wish I could put up Ma's village, but no room for that either.

I'll come sit on your back steps! Just bring me out a cup of hot cocoa with a strong slap of Peppermint Schnapps!
I've been seeing and hearing all about your cold snap up there in Minnesota, I think about you everytime the national weather broadcast rolls around on CNN....snuggle up and stay warm!

Have the hot cocoa and the peppermint schnapps right here. Have to bundle up and stay warm, don't like the alternative. We have already had a foot of the white stuff with another storm on the way for this weekend. We'll see how that pans out. We definitly have a white christmas this year.

i started today hon and the snow came and its so pretty.this type weather gets me pumped up for christmas.gets me horny too

Done all my decs,  just need to get the presents, write my cards, wrap the presents, oh my god, i'm so behind!!! 
I'd love to get snow here, we get a slight dusting in Feb or March.

I have the tree up - one lonely string of lights outside and a few strings inside. The 5 year old is moving me along and I guess I just need to get with the program.

Hi everyone, I just love this time of year!! We've had a ton of snow all week, been very cold and I've had a few deer on the back lawn. I love going to town and watching all of the people just rushing around getting the Xmas stuff done. The tree will be going up this week-end and the cats will be going crazy, new place to play!!! I truly hope that ya'll will be safe and happy!!!!

I can't seem to get my outdoor decorating done, allot of rain and ice...don't have much left to do and the weather is suppose to clear up around noon today.

i am the same, not that we don't have money, just is has lost its appeal this year for obvious reasons

All right took my life in my hands, climbed up to the second story roof and hung the lights, I must have been a site, laying completely flat to keep myself from shaking so hard, but I really hate hieghts. I did put some presents under the tree and wrapped the staircase with lights....
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
