Tattoo?
How do you guys male and female feel about tattoos?
Can they be interesting or a complete turn off?
I have two and I love them both.

Re: Tattoo?
I think tottoos are great but can be a turn off if overused or what the tattoo is on women.

Re: Tattoo?
I don't mind small tattoo's on women at all,in fact they can be kinda sexy! .However I'm not A fan of the larger 'porn star' type of tattoo's (small of the back),jus don't think they are attractive. A friend of mine once had one done but I would never let her show me it ,,,Call me crazy lol

Re: Tattoo?
its so wide open. tattoos can be an awesome way to express yourself, pay tribute, or just remind yourself of who you are..... or they can be a trendy but horrific "scar" on an otherwise attractive person.
i've got two and will get more. mine will never show when wearing even a tee shirt.. and they will always have a deep meaning to me.

Re: Tattoo?
I have one and will get another. They have to have meaning not just for the sake of having one. On women I think they are sexy if done well just as for men. They can be overdone. If it becomes a jumbled blur there is no meaning

Re: Tattoo?
I like tatoo's, if done correctly. Doesn't matter if you are a man or woman. I even like some of the "tramp stamp" tatoo's. I will get one or two someday, just haven't found the right one for me. Ma has one, and wants to get more.

Re: Tattoo?
My daughter had a fake tattoo on her face the other day when we were at wal mart. The cashier said, "cool.." then looked at mine and said, "you got one too, huh?" I told him it's not fake. He said he has some and that he's not sure if he'd let his kids get one when they get older (which really isn't up to him when they're grown and on their own, duh! lol).. Anyhow, I said that I would let my kids get one as long as it's something that has special meaning to them... something they're not gonna regret... I can never understand why some people that want to get their first tattoo just walk into a parlor and pick "flash art" off the wall!

Re: Tattoo?
Tats are cool if done right. wife has two and I'm thinking of getting at least one if not two. Just got to find the right one to get started and a good place to get it done.
MH, love the wolf tat you have.

Re: Tattoo?
I like it when people with tats are happy to explain the meaning and significance behind their body art, but I really have never ever had the desire to get one myself.
Life has "tattooed" me, I have the wrinkles in my brow that represent the hard harsh times I've made it through, the onset of crow's feet and laugh lines show the world that I laugh, smile and find joy in life, the scars I have are from the times in my life when I was self sufficient, independent, hands on, adventurous and in spite of the risks, hey...I got the job done!
For me, I guess...tattoos would just be kinda redundant in a way.

we all get the tatoos of life, they lend character. In your case the tatoos of life have been very kind, not only a smart underrstanding person but a lovely one to top it off. Just my opinion , hey you put up with me

Re: Tattoo?
I have 5 tattoos and plan on more someday. I think Tat's in good taste for women are okay. Course what I think is good taste my not be for someone else.
Tat's should have a special meaning for the person and be well thought out beforehand.

Re: Tattoo?
Due to my fear of being scolded for giving a negative opinion that may rub someone the wrong way, I simply adore tattoos!! Yes, I do!!!!
I love the women with all the eyesore tramp stamps and the big, huge flowers emblazzoned on their chests and the barbed wire tatts on their arms arms. I think they're simply beautiful. Bring 'em on. Girls, you are beautiful.

Oh now...we all have negative opinions about one thing or another, we all have at least one opinion about something that someone here will disagrees with...it's how we share our opinions... even negative opinions can send a message of respect... or disrespect.

Re: Tattoo?
At one time I would have never dreamed of getting a tat. Now I have 2 and have never regretted getting them. I think that the wilder side of me has surfaced as I have gotten older. My tats represent the Irish in me, a shamrock with a ladybug on it and a celtic knot. I would like to get one more I think.
