The "Catch-all"
That "catch-all" spot or area in your home...that clutter magnet place...do you have one?
Mine is the kitchen table, no matter what I do, I cannot seem to keep up with the crap that just gets tossed on the table!
I have baskets for sorting mail, there's a trash can nearby, a basket for pens and pencils, a container for odd things...but everything that comes in the door, or out of a pocket, seems to hit the kitchen table...not just mail, but little scribbled notes taken while on the phone, and where in the hell do all those odd screws, nuts, funny looking little unidentifiable bits of teflon,nylon, plastic whatevers?

I lost my kitchen table years ago, then things started appearing at the table by my recliner.
I was asked once if I had a pilot's license...I said "Yup sure do...I can pile it here and pile it there."

I've got a little coverd bowl on my table, it's where I toss all those things...ya know....those little weird things...you pick 'em up off the floor, look at 'em and say...."Ummmm, musta fallen off something, probably need that, better keep it"

I never seem to be able to see my kitchen table top
It is the first piece of furniture as you come in the back door
Every thing goes on it

Oh I got cookie tins,and all other sorts of containers filled with things like that or pieces of things I might need someday. I'm pretty much a pack rat,

So far that hasn't happened to me yet with me just moving into my apartment!   Sure hoping I can keep that from happening. Usually mine is a drawer in the kitchen or the closets.

I try so hard to keep the clutter cleared off my table...I can often be heard saying things to my husband like ...
"Hey! This is the kitchen table not your freakin' tool bench!" or "There's a trash can 2 feet over to your right!"
