Pro athletes and the steroid issue
What should be done about the records broken by pro and Olympic athletes when it's found out later that they were using steroids, (or in anyway breaking the rules)
Should they be stripped of awards and honors? Should they lose their place in Halls of Fame? Should they face charges, or just if they perjured themselves at congressional hearings, grand jury?

Since "Winning" is supposed to be everything, why the big deal???? Between team and public pressures, these athletes don't stand a chance.

It's cheating, it is a big deal. Bonds (who I'm sick of hearing about) would have never broken Hank Aarons record. The steroids prolonged his career, ever watch him in the outfield he can't play anymore. Plus they are dangerous for your health, they are deadly, what kind of message do we send kids, win at all costs. Another sad commentary on society.

I hope that didn't sound like i was ranting at anyone HOB, it's just we tell our kids, it may kill you but that's OK cuz uou'll win, freakin sad !!!!!!!!!!!!!
