Saggy pants
A local township here is enacting one of those "saggy pants" laws...you know....a fine for guys wearing their pants hanging half off of 'em with their underwear all out there..
I do very much dislike the saggy pants fashion fad, it's been around for so long now, too long....for awhile I kept hoping it was just a fad and it would go away...but it's still just as popular.
I don't think much of a dress code law, I mean in schools, workplaces, even businesses have some rights to require that a dress code be adhered to, but just a citizen walking the streets...I don't like it much really....but I sure do want this saggy pants thing to just go away!

OMG, thank you! When those kids come into the ER I tell them it is a rule if they want to be treated. If they are unconscious we cut those pants off anyways - so we do society a favor.

Some of our guys at work used to come into work with their pants sagging. My assistant manager put a stop to that really quick. LOL She brought some belts from home because they would say they didn't have a belt. Now they do.

Oh that drives me nuts, seeing some guy with half his ass hanging out. I won't allow anyone on my crew to wear that, nor a ragged shirt, for safety reasons as well as appearance

I was in a local convenience store one nite and there was a young man in there that had his pants sagging. The clerk about died laughing when I walked up behind the guy and acted like I was going to pull his pants down the rest of the way. I'm sure he had a cute tush, but I like to see a guy fill out his pants, not having to wonder how he looks when he is sagging!

You're right about that safety thing, it's dangerous...
But ya know what is really funny? I love watching the show "cops" and some idiot bolts from a stolen car, or tries to run and ditch his dope, and his saggy pants fall around his ankles and trip him up after only a step or two....ah yeah....that's some good fun, just tickles me somethin' fierce everytime!

well, you can blame our correctional facilities for this fashion trend...
the prisons in this country...they make the prisoners wear pants, but won't give them anything to hold them up....for the fear that they (the prisoners) might try hanging themselves or another inmate...

It really is gross, don't see the appeal but don't like the idea of BIG BROTHER telling me or anyone else what they can or cannot wear. To much control as it is, If their ass is hanging out it's one thing but if not. Dress code in work or school is OK but not in every day life

like everyone else, i really dont care for the baggy,saggy pants look. but even more i disagree with more,new,unnecessary laws that take away more of our basic freedoms. where does it end ?????

I was catching more on this story this morning, Atlanta has a similiar law they say, and another city if Florida.
The township in Missouri is Pine Lawn, they claim they are trying to bring in developers and everyone running around with their underpants showing, they say...could deter new businesses and new construction there.
This saggy pants law did get a little opposition, but it did pass!

I dunno if laws and ordinances will work, but if every woman who disdains the saggy pants would refuse to have sex with any man who insists on wearing his pants that way...that could have an impact and wipe out that fad for good....

I remember a few years ago when the girls were running around in just their daddys boxer shorts,(or looked like them) that was as disgusting as sagging pants. My daughter came in one time wearing boxers. I told her if I ever caught her wearing them outside her bedroom again she would NEVER leave her room. What I really wondered,and she wouldn't say, where she got them, they weren't mine, cause I don't wear boxers.

I can't stand the look of pants sitting at the knee caps. It think its sick. If I wanted to see some dude's ass, I'd be a ass doctor. Now if women want to wear their pants low on the hip's, that's fine, as long as they only have the low rise or ultra low rise pants. At least when they the women wear those pants, they still are form fitted to the ass cheeks.

Bottom line is most of the people here are older and mature or at least somewhat LOL. It's kids who are wearing them, it's a fad, where are the parents. Girls with thongs showing and guys baggy pants are just looking for the attention they don't get at home. It aleays comes down the parents. How do you stop that , reeducate them or maybe castrate them LOL. I know my kids woud never walk out of the house like that

I told my son once when he came to visit that I had to look at his underwear when he was a kid and I had to do his laundry and I didn't need to see them now That when he came home to visit he best pull them pants up or stay away
One time he came to visit he stood out front and pulled his pants up before he came in He was afraid I was going to pull them the rest of the way down lol

I have a friend who wears the hip huggers with a lil of the thong showing butt goes no lower than the top of the thong. I actually think that's kinda sexy but no lower than that. Can save that for private. She thinks guys with crack of their ass hanging out is hot no matter how big they are. She told me once she would like to dress me up like that. I told her a snowball had a better chance in hell
