Remember
Just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who has and is still fighting for our freedom.
It is Remembrance Sunday here this weekend and today my school held a two minute silence.
So many of the students shed a tear as they have brothers and sisters in the forces. A local lad who's brother is friends with my nephew, got killed two months ago in Iraq, he was 21!!!
I can't find the right words to thank all the brave men and woman who have and do put their lives at risk for their countries.
Thank you so much

Re: Remember
I was out and about yesterday and it was nice to see so many people wearing poppies.
My grandfather gave me my fist poppy when I was about 5 or 6 years old,and I wear one every year.
The young men and women out there in Iraq and Afghanistan are doing A tough and dangerous job,it makes it easier for them and their families to know that we are behind them......So wear your poppy with pride

Re: Remember
Yes, today is Veteran's day in the states, red poppy day...
No matter who you are, where you are, with the flags and the poppies, everyone will share this one thought some time today...

Re: Remember
Most of us enjoy many freedoms because of the sacrafices others have made for us. I greatly appreciate the dedication of individuals in our military and government. No matter if you are holding a gun, sitting at a desk, or analyzing information...we pray for you and your commarades and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We know the woes we go to sleep with are our own and that you are making our homes, our country, our world a safer place for our children to grow.
