That Bitch!!!
My best friend MICHELLE is steaming over her ex's new girlfriend! Turns out she is MICHELLE's former best friend. She vents to me that she can't believe that "bitch" would do that to her after all she did for her!
I told her to get past it, move on. Hey, your ex needs someone he already knows. That's the way life is. She can't seem to get over that hump though......
Any suggestions I could give her other than my standard line of "go out and get some stud to pound you into the mattress to get our mind off "that bitch"!!! I have offered my services but I don't think my wife would approve. Hey, I'd only be acting in a mercenary role and would derive no pleasure from this!!

Good to hear from you too sweety!! I've told her numerous times that ex's hooking up with ex's best friends is the norm. She won't bite.....

Re: That Bitch!!!
Where I come from, a girl's best friend wouldn't even consider dating an ex of the best friend. It's just an unwritten, unspoken kind of code.
I can see why Michelle would be upset, but there comes a time for her to quit ranting and move on.

Re: That Bitch!!!
I agree chazzy, there is an unwritten rule that friends partners are off limits. I do think the exception is, if they have been apart for years and the friend has a chat with her friend and tells her she is interested in her ex. If she is fine with it, then thats ok. Everyone deserves to be happy, so it is a tough one and always a delicate subject.
She should move on and enjoy her life.

I would never never ever date a friends ex, i think it would be to uncomfortable. I'd remain friends but never date. That's just me, to each his own.

As it stands now, there is no humpy-pumpy with MICHELLE's ex and her best friend. Just a platonic relationship. They go out to eat, concerts, ect! I've been with those two quite a few times and I've seen zero in the way of affection. Maybe his ex ruined him for any other woman. Where as with MICHELLE and her boyfriend, a lot of the old in and out, in and out!!
According to her ex, she was high maintenance in bed as in going the extra mile (lickety-split) every time, no exceptions!! He told me he loved that about her.
Maybe he might yell out her name at an inappropriate time but probably not with MICHELLE's best friend.

Yep, the only way to date a best friends ex is after a respectable amount of time (whatever that may mean personallly) and with the friend's "blessing"...

I don't see her ex asking MICHELLE for her blessing in any way, shape or form. It's a push.......
